Free Unity Audio Manager
A downloadable asset pack
What is this?
Have you ever wanted to have music play whenever a certain enemy shows up, or slowly increase the volume of the creepy violins as the player gets closer to the source of horror, but had issues with syncing up with the main melody in the background?
The Piplib Audio Manager is an easy to use annotated audio manager for handling both audio sound effects and music. It's as simple as dragging and dropping in the prefab into the scene.
The packages includes a couple of basic sound effects, and a set of two music tracks I threw together to demonstrate the system's ability to handle multi-layered and monolayered soundtracks.
The sound effect library allows you to easily store and play sound effects without having to create a audio source, grab a reference to it and then make it play. Instead just by dropping the sound effect into the list, you can just do SELibrary.Play() and give it either the name or the position in the list and it will automatically play. Repeated instances don't interrupt each other either!
